Our politicians don’t have the will or backbone to fight for victory.

It’s time to get our troops out and stop the dying.

World War II lasted less than four years for the USA and we have been in Afghanistan for almost ten years. Yet with all the money, manpower and war material poured into Afghanistan in that time we still do not dominate.

There is no way a severely downsized American military could maintain a meaningful presence in that cess pit.
Without sufficient numbers on the ground and overwhelming air support they would be reduced to just staying alive and hanging on by their fingertips.

One day while looking through some family photos, I noticed that my veteran uncles had - at the most - four overseas bars on their sleeves when WWII ended. My son has eight so far, and figures that he will be deployed to the ME every other year until he separates from the service.

Heads they win, tails we lose... just like the bad guys planned it all along.
