I’d have to think that latest Rasmussen poll showing Perry ahead of Romney by double digits with likely voters must have them running scared. I don’t think they’ve ever understood the Tea Party-type conservatives, and they think we might be duped into going for Christie because he talks like a tough guy and took on the unions.
