The strategy of the left must make the failures of the agenda Obama’s personal failures and shortcomings and not a repudiation of socialism. It will be a repeat of the old mantra that socialism has only ever failed because it wasn't tried by the right people.

That’s an excellent point, one I hadn’t seen raised before. And I agree. It explains the sharpening of the knives by Pravda.
