Mistakes in judgment are inevitable when you base the conduct of politics on an understanding of government that makes "getting things done" the only standard that matters.
This is where I get really irritated with the "What has Michelle Bachmann done?" question. After all, look at what it takes to be considered "successful" in congress these days. Johnny "The Jellyfish" Boehner is considered successful because he's repeatedly folded like a cheap suit in the name of moving forward.
Returning to my 08 election thought for the GOP. Stop following the left like a cowering dog hoping for crumbs and be an achor in the right.

The primary complaint against Bachmann is executive or leadership experience, not accomplishments such as legislation or compromises.
Stop tyring to cloud the issue.
