Washington, D.C. U.S. Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) today released the following statement applauding President Obama for calling on Bashar al Assad to leave power in Syria, and urging other nations to also call for and take action to end the Assad regime:
We applaud President Obama for calling on Bashar al Assad to leave power, a position we have long argued should be the policy of the United States.
(snip)
We urge other nations to join the United States in demanding an end to the Assad regime, whose legitimacy is clearly exhausted. We also hope that other tangible actions will be taken as soon as possible, in coordination with our friends and partners around the world, to support the democratic transition that the Syrian people are risking and losing their lives to achieve.

When is mccain going to go ahead and endorse obama? Someone start a pool.
We won’t need a pool on Graham. He’ll be one second behind his fudge buddy.

Are they kidding??? Why don't they remind Obuma of his statement during and after his election,...we should stay out of other countries businesses. He went around the world apologizing for the US sticking our noses in other countries businesses. Now because he feels it's OK, these RINO’s think how wonderful our leader is. Let's applaud him. Instead they should be leading a move to impeach the lying, deceitful POS.

We need the entire R contingent in DC to issue a statement requesting that Obummer leave office. Or, just stay on vacation for the next 15 months.

It’s going to be awhile for McCain, he put on his “I’m a conservative!” Halloween mask last year and was re-elected to another Senate term.

Oh, yeah. That “maverick” McCainthe Academy pugilistpulled every punch he threw at Obama in 2008. It’s more like he chased Obama into the Presidency than ran a race against him.

Sec. of State Hillary Clinton made the Assad must leave announcement. Greta Van Sustern said that Hillary looked more Presidential than Obama did/does? I was waiting for Hillary to pull an Alexander Haig thing of:”As for now, I’m in charge here?” Obama would have probably had a conniption then?
