At this point I’m undecided between the two, but obtuse allusions like this are just going to alienate conservatives. The left is begging for lines like this so that they can point and say, “See!? Look what a bunch of whacked out Christian fundamentalists they are.”
It gives the opponent something to drag out and say “see, this is the kind of stuff” yada, yada, yada.
Unnecessary, unproductive and undermining of MB’s run if the left sees an open door to bring her, the Tea Party, the GOP, etc down.
A bit over the top....over enough to ruin a bunch of stuff we don't want ruined!
