I’m not in favor of strict number quotas based on race. I looked at the current FedGov mix and did not see a problem that needs fixing via EO. The current mix is “close enough” to say that it represents the USA.
And even if the percentages of hires didn’t match the population - so what? Aren’t jobs supposed to be based on the applicants’ qualifications?
