Presidential candidate Ron Paul, who has long called for abolishing the Federal Reserve, said he now looks like a moderate compared with GOP rival and fellow Texan, Gov. Rick Perry, who said it would be almost treacherous, or treasonous, if the central bank increased the money supply before the 2012 election.

Used to think ronpaul was just a harmless fool, turns out to be a subversive SOB.

In general he seems pretty good. I don't think the perfect candidate exists. I believe he will be a good Pres. in part because the Tea Party doesn't seem willing to just fall in line and support everything the way the Pubs did behind Pres. Bush. A conservative House, a Senate with a majority of Pubs that has more conservatives in it, with a conservative Pres sounds like the opportunity for some good govt.
Anyone remember this?
