I have found this to be true way more often than it is not. Projecting is when you see others as being just like yourself, as having your same traits.
This is why honest people get screwed all the time- they see others as all honest.
and why liars aways suspect everyone else of lying.
I used to own 14 buildings, and had to hire contractors to do all kinds of work- the ones who said "Don't worry-you can trust me" are the one who screwed you over the most.
