I look at the horizon and I see war.

It all reminds me of how we introduced Japan to the industrial revolution, and how we got Pearl Harbor as a thank-you.

you are correct and the reason was economic and cultural. The men in power decided that we were weak, distracted and could easily be defeated because of their culture of the Warrior and their absolute revulsion and hatred of the weak or cowardly.

The only problem we have now is that China isn't an island, has tens of MILLIONS of men....MILLIONS !!!!! that are going to be unmarried, unemployed and soon to be sitting in cities getting in trouble without jobs because they're centrally planned economy is going to fail like all other do and the leaders aren't going to want to be strung up like Mussolini.
