I pray that this lawsuit is successful and that the sheriff is fired.

So despite the protest of many right here on FR there does actually seem to be a contingent (Given it is a small contingent, but it is clearly a growing one)of Jack Booted Thugs masquerading as dedicated LEO's in America.

These lawsuits against a county, when settled, are paid by the taxpayer. Why not by the perpetrators who caused the suit?

Unless and until the LEO’s personal assets including pensions are at risk in these law suits nothing is going to change.

How can they sue if they were killed?
{No disrespect to the family intended, just that the headline doesn’t read well.}

Pima County is a cesspool of democrat party corruption, starting that evil excuse for a Sheriff.

A civil suit should be much easier to prove than a criminal charge. There's no chance a judge will let the family collect 20 mil or anything close but 5 or 6 mil would help ease the financial worries.

Good!

We the jury find the sheriff’s office guilty of murder! We hereby award the plaintiff’s the $20 million dollars they requested, along with another $30 million dollars for punitive damages. And we the jury order via the citizen arrest procedures, we order that the AZ FBI, arrest of all member of this swat hit team, charging each for murder!

Every thug cop involved in this brazen murder of an innocent man in front of his family should serve hard time and never wear a badge nor carry a gun again.
