I shudder to think about the cost in emitted carbon....
And that would be 24% of 8%, or about 2% of the total energy generated.

Believe it or not ... some power companies are resorting to burning wood (renewable resource) to comply with new laws. May not be an EPA requirement (don't know), it could be state and / or federal laws requiring.
