I was wondering about the noise these things generate affecting wildlife. If humans have serious noise issues with them, I can’t imagine that wildlife is going to stick around where these things are placed. I bet they end up creating faunal “deserts” which will mess up these areas ecologically.

Where are the enviro-wackos when you need them? I hate these dead bird reports. What constructive purpose do these wind farms serve? They will never generate enough energy, without subsidy, to make the slightest difference in the energy needs of the nation.

The low frequency throb of windmills only seems to bother humans. Maybe if the windmills had whistles or some other noise maker that was obnoxious to birds that would solve the problem. Of course, no one could live within 20 miles of one.
