Video: Christine O’Donnell walks off Piers Morgan’s show

Via Gossip Cop, such is the viral potential of this video that you’re going to end up watching it somewhere. It might as well be here and now.

I don’t understand her objection. Did Morgan not let her talk about her book at all during the course of the interview? Or is she just really, really opposed to talking about gay marriage for whatever reason? Unless there’s an agreement before the show that certain topics are off-limits, the host is usually free to ask anything he/she wants. Palin just did an hour of questions with reporters last week at the Iowa state fair and didn’t rule any subject out of bounds, even though she’s not running for anything right now either. Very strange.

CNN, as you might expect, is milking it for all it’s worth.

She was on the show to talk about fiscal policies and the Tea Party and her book, not gay marriage. She did not write a book on “Whither, Gay Marriage?”

Why do talk show hosts always want to talk about gay marriage?

Piers would never do this to a liberal.

Christine could see, in fact Ray Charles could see where this interview was heading.

She, nor any conservative, does not have to sit through hosts goign off on rabbit trails, as topics were probably already defined beforehand.

Good for her. She’s on there to sell books. Her handler probably saw that only ten people nationwide were watching this show, including the people in the control room.

Piers just doesn’t like getting the tables turned on him.

Libs and Dems can be obnoxious, but somehow conservatives are just supposed to sit and take it. She told Piers the topic was not one she wanted to spend time on, as it was not important. He would not “move on”, so she left.

If Ann Coulter did that, people would be standing up and applauding.

Besides, to the CODS crowd, she’s just a “Troublemaker”.

What a pathetic joke she is. I said it all along.

But, back in 2008, we were assured by the True Believers that she was the one that "liberals feared".

This is why I am so opposed to the unquestioning adoration of obviously unelectable candidates, even if they are pretty with great legs. It just puts Left-wingers in Congress and in the White house.

Having watched it, I’m surprised at all the praise I recall hearing about Piers being a great interviewer. Maybe he’s still settling into the job. Any, I don’t think he was being rude to ask about something he read about in her book- if in fact he did read it and she did write about it. He was kind enough to say that it was a good book and told viewers were they could purchase it.

In the ‘60s of my youth it was considered a badge of honor to walk off a tv show when the host or fellow guests got rude or inconsiderate. It was soooooo fun to watch a star rip off the microphone, throw it on the table and stalk off the stage. Jack Paar practically had a guest walk off every night. I can remember when Lily Tomlin almost never made it past the intro, lol!

Times have changed and now stupid guests sit there and take it and it’s considered “brave” somehow. The last person to walk off the set was the late, great Bob Novak on some stupid show with James Carville.

I salute Christine - bringing back the best of the ‘60s!

Christine O'Donnell ended Mike Castle's political career. What major contributions to the conservative movement have you made in your life?

Well, unlike Christine O'Donnell, vicar7 did not put a self-descrbibed Marxist in the U.S. Senate for 6 years.

Chris Coon wrote"Chris Coons: The making of a bearded Marxist" for his college paper. Thanks to Christine O'Donnell, he is now a U.S. Senator.

But, you are one of those who would rather have a Marxist that supports the conservative agenda zero percent of the time rather than a RINO that support the conservative agenda 50% of the time just so that you can pat yourself on the back and brag about how Politically Pure you are.

We have some real woman haters here on FR. It’s been mind- boggling to read in the last few years the hate-ons for Michelle, Sarah and Christine. Personally, because of my strong points of view, I’ve been called “sweetie,” “honey,” and “go bake some cookies,” from fellow freepers and I’m not comparing myself in any way with those 3 gals. Weird.

There is nothing virtuous about turning away a RINO who will give us 50% of what we want and deliberately feeling good about installing a 100% Marxist. That is STUPID. DUMB, DUMB, DUMB!!

He is an awful person IMHO. However, he has been interviewing for 25 years and never had anyone walk off his stage during an interview. Being that she is the only one and he asked a reasonable question, she is 100 percent at fault on this one.

Piers had ulterior reasons.

BTW, he doesn't really have 25 years experience ~ he has 1 year of relatively poor interviewing and did it 25 times.

Guy is a dud.

It was Bill O’Reilly. The problem with that incident is that it was a premeditated. And they were the HOSTS not the guests, for God sake! Who ever heard of a host walking off his/her own show? Only the really dim broads of The View (not you, Elizabeth).

Not everyone thought it was terrible. You get that particular bunch to walk off their own show YOU’VE WON SOMETHING BIG.

Unwatchable.

She should have postponed the interview.

Well I did contribute to her campaign with hopes she would win. However, I just think one ought to stand up for what you believe, rather than get one’s panties in a bunch and soil oneself in the process. She was there to sell a book and she drew attention to herself by her behavior rather than her book.

Dems are trying to remind people that this woman is an R and TEA Party. I expect to see the left-wing media to continue to roll out the red carpet for her, unfortunately.

>>> Christine O’Donnell ended Mike Castle’s political career. What major contributions to the conservative movement have you made in your life? Oh, yeah! I forgot. You post at FR./lol

Christine and her clueless posse electing a doctrinaire democrat to the senate sure was a big contribution all right.

I am offended that she let Piers Morgan win such a miniscule point..
Shes not ready for prime time..

A simple general answer would do.. UNLess he harped on the subject.. he didn’t..
She stepped in something nasty.. and tracked it out of the studio..
