Absolutely false. The legislature killed it by reversing his executive order by veto-proof majorities. He could do nothing about it (except accuse the legislators of being anti-life and pro-cancer). Didn’t you even read the article before posting this falsehood (and I am being generous in referring to it as such)

Did you read the article or the attempted rebuttal? He canceled the plan only after both houses passed legislation by veto proof margins, and accused them of murdering children. This is not someone who changed his mind because he decided he made a mistake. This is the action of someone who either got caught doing wrong or has the same narcissistic tendencies as Obama.

ONE BIG LIE! Perry did not "kill" the plan. He didn't even rescind the Executive Order. He waited for the legislature to pass a bill over riding his order and then signed it.

I agree, this issue is a loser and frankly the horse is dead from beating it to death. He made a mistake and admitted it - no candidate will ever please everyone. If he ends up being the party candidate, I will vote for him.
