He wants 1000’s of troops on the border, he just thinks the fence is a silly idea. And I agree, and if you owned property along the border you would too! Can you imagine owning property on the Rio Grande (the only water source within 100’s of miles) and then having the government come and build a giant fence on YOUR property cutting you off from the river? naaa, didn't think so!
