And on the opposite side of the state is Detroit, an incredibly non-picturesque area.
Truth is that we keep Detroit like that to scare the riff raff away.

It truly is, and should be experienced in all 4 seasons.

Sure is a beautiful place. Though it doesn't have a lot of beach area to go swimming from.
An aside: The wiki pics are pretty good too, considering the camera used. Talk about 'early digital'. This is why I stuck with my Nikon FE and 35mm film back then. Digital sensors couldn't match the grain quality of film (aka: Noise)
Olympus c2100uz
This looks like a digital version of an Olympus 35mm film camera I got for the wife to use back then.

I'm sure glad we didn't make the list. Flipping tree huggers can stay away from God's country.

Those two guys are going to tumble for what seems to be a lifetime, until they finally hit bottom with sand in every orifice of their miserable bodies. I speak from experience.

I’m sure it’s nice, but it’s got nothing on the Northeast corner of Beverly and Rampart in Los Angeles.

I'm sure glad we didn't make the list same here in Montana.
Here's the road I take to see my parents an hour a way where I go through 0 towns.
To: Lakeshark
My town was one of the contenders, but why did the winner have to be the one place I have never heard of?

I think that because of this new debt agreement, its now in the Shanghai suburbs.
To: Lakeshark
Awww, my link doesn’t work.
I’m sure it’s gorgeous, though.
I see Aspen, Colorado made the list, too. :P

I would love to truck my small boat out from Washington St. and explore the area but it will never happen.
