That's what I thought the author said in the interview I heard. I recall at the time of LBJ the talk about the WH swimming pool(s), LBJ, and WH female employees, et al but nothing like this.
Rumors about LBJ were that he tapped anything female, white or black.
Oh yeah, I’d heard about how he would get naked on AF1. Didn’t matter if there were women present, didn’t matter if his own daughters were there. He just didn’t care.
In a lot of ways, LBJ was the original hippie. Almost the perfect president for that era if you think about it.
