Her whole show was to rip Jerry. She used personal encounters to create her popularity. When he stopped talking to her, she got stale and turned to Cramer.
Now, am I really supposed to believe that 20 years later Kathy Griffin had life immitate art? It’s a heck of a coincidence. I’m more likely to believe that she is immitating her character.
Further, if it did happen... It sounds like Bachman was being a smartass right back to Griffin.
