According to the posts on Twitter the turnout is at or exceeding presidential levels. Of course that is just an observation from a random twitter user so take it for what it is worth. But on the surface it appears to be good news for us.

Turnout appears to be huge. Some saying larger turnout then the Pres. election.....I am so hoping this reflects the 2012 election!...and nobody sits home.
