However, the idea of her as Sec of Energy is brilliant. What better place to put her talents and background than having here shepard through legislation to get energy pumping thoughout the country. Oil from Alaska and the Gulf; natural gas from the northeast; coal from the Virginia's - we have so much energy here if we can just tap into it! Think about the jobs. Think about the lower cost of energy. Think about the lessening dependence on energy needs from our enemies. The answer is so easy and right in front of us, we need someone like her that can take the heat and get things done!
In Pa., they are creating thousands of jobs getting gas out of the ground. Of course, in NY, where we have sizable energy deposits as well, nothing is happening because left wing environmentalists outnumber common sense people 2 to 1.
Let's get Perry elected with Bachmann or Rubio at his side and Palin running Energy.
I don’t think a congressman or a freshman senator is a wise pick for VP. Obama should be attacked for his incompetence as much as for his ideology. The argument should be that it was a mistake to elect a president with such little (none) executive experience. Having a similarly underqualified person running as understudy negates that whole line of attack.
To each his or her own.
I admire Perry so far. A strong, engaged and strong willed GOP field is a very good thing.
I am very enthused Perry is starting out this way.
I’ll be supporting Palin if she runs, and will support Perry as her running mate.
