I agree. I’m betting on Paul Ryan.
The budget, the deficit and entitlement reform are going to the policy issues receiving the major focus during the next administration. Perry will need a Paul Ryan to manage that effort.
Rubio would also be a good choice but he has serious Natural Born Citizen issues - his parents did not become American citizens until after his birth.
I don’t think the VP pick is going to be a congressman. I also don’t think a freshman senator makes a good choice, especially given the resume and performance of our current president.
