Here in Kansas City last Saturday, our black mayor was at the Plaza, our premier shopping district, one of the first of its kind in the country, to prove that the area was safe and that we didn’t need earlier curfews. Shots rang out, three children were hit including a ten year old girl, who had been dropped off there by her mother (this was at 11:30). So the mayor is going to have a plan by this coming weekend. Didn’t see it on the national news. Haven’t seen the story on FreeRepublic. All the yutes and there are hundreds down there every weekend night, are black.

When I was a kid, the curfew established by my parents was when the street lights come on, you had better be running for the homestead.

The police also would not tolerate kids out walking at night. They would haul you in front of your parents and back then, the police coming to your house was stigmatizing.
