Sorry. I suppose I’m sensitive. We’ve been under siege for the last three days. The fact is, we can’t help the accent anymore than Teddy Kennedy could. A drawl doesn’t mean stupid. It just means a drawl.
I was born and raised in West Texas and I don’t have a drawl.. I never could figure that out.. (I was also raised half of my pre-University days on a ranch)..
