Romney touts business experience; says most of his rivals don't have it

Litchfield, New Hampshire (CNN) - Mitt Romney said Monday his experience in business would help propel him over his opponents for the GOP presidential nomination, including the man who threatens to be his biggest rival, Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

----

Romney has repeatedly faulted President Barack Obama for failing to understand how private business works, and he pivoted to apply that criticism to the Texas governor. Perry has essentially been a career politician, serving 11 years in the Governor's mansion and as Lt. Governor to then-Gov. George W. Bush before that.

---

Perry, a tea party darling who is pursuing both social and fiscal conservatives in his bid for the White House, touted his jobs record in Texas at events over the weekend.

Well the only difference I see between Mittens and Perry, with their career choice, is that voters actually elected Perry. Romney has been running for all types of elected positions in that time period. In most cases, he was rejected.

I’d put Palin’s business experience on their fishing boat up against Romney any day.
Heck, I’d put Perry’s farm experience up against Romney any day.

Romney has big business experience in a leveraged buyout firm.
He also has the porn business experience from the board of Marriott that paid his director’s checks that he cashed...

When you govern Massatooshits , the gay state, home of Barny Frank, there's probably a good reason. They demanded it.

States rights. If 90 percent of the people in Massatooshits decided that all houses had to be painted pink, and then packed the courts with Think Pink Judges, they can do that. The other 10 percent can leave if they don't like it.

Romney bought successful companies, bogged them down with debt while extracting “management fees,” then left them to burn while walking away a rich man.

Screw him - he has more in common with derivatives traders and Bernie Madoff than he does with job creators. He’s a crook and scammer of the highest magnitude.

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

“why would anyone with business experience create romneycare?”

Because Romney’s business experience was sitting in a big chair in a company created with money bilked from members of an off-shoot cult branch of the Mormon Church and letting others do everything.

If anything, he’s a lesson on how to become a millionaire —— be born as a billionaire and make bad business calls.
