Well, thankfully, your power is back and thankfully again your Mrs. is feeling a little better. Chirping smoke detectors? Oh good grief. Shoot them or disconnect unless you think there might be something unusual going on in the attic? Maybe smoke detectors have to be replaced? Heck, I don’t know. Ours are a PITA with 14 and 16 foot ceilings.
