This sounds like the South Korean version of Vertical Launch ASROC (antisubmarine rocket). ASROC carries a Mk 46 Mod 5 homing torpedo. The Mk 17 nuke depth charge was retired at least 15 years ago. (The South Koreans never had it; only the USN.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RUM-139_VL-ASROC
