I’m done with RINOs. If he’s the nominee, I’m going third party. :(

Me too. If the Establishment Republicans close out the Tea Party in the primaries, then we need to get our own candidate. The Tea Party can capture the hearts and minds of America better than Obama, Perry or Romney. All three are a bunch of phonies. A Tea Party candidate can definitely win as a third party candidate.

Rick Perry -- in no way, shape or form -- represents Tea Party ideals. He would be a disaster.

With Barack Soetoro Dunham Hussein Milhouse Hoover Obama in office, I think you need to recalibrate the definition of "disaster".

I’ve been watching these Perry threads all afternoon, and the main talking point seems to be... “if you don’t support Perry then Obama will win, and you don’t want that do you?”

From another article about his Waterloo appearance tonight: “We are in economic turmoil,” Perry said as he addressed the Black Hawk County GOP's Annual Lincoln Day Dinner, saying that the country must focus on jobs, as he has in Texas.
...
“The president of the United States has a pen, and it's called a veto pen — and I'll use that until all ink runs out to get the message across that we're not spending all the money.”
...
Perry, a tea party favorite, addressed voters’ frustration with government.

But “tea party types aren't angry,” he said. “We're indignant about big government hurting companies. We're indignant about [the fact that] Washington would take half of what you have worked for in what we call the death tax.

“We're indignant about a president who goes on an apology tour instead of talking about American exceptionalism, He seems to still consider himself part of the tea party, although I guess you don't. He was endorsed for Governor by another tea party favorite.
