How would I act differently if I were paid to promote Perry? Well, for one thing, I would be a whole lot more reverent. I’ve been pretty much telling it like it is without regard to causing hysterics in the Palin/Bauchmann camp. I would think a paid operative would have no desire to stir things up so much as appear the level-headed grown-up in the room. I have no such qualms. I know Rick Perry. I KNOW who he is. And I take it personal when people act like @ssholes spewing lies about him. He’s a good man. He’s a conservative man, a Christian man. He is a FEARLESS man. And he is smart. He understands limitations. The lies being told about him with regard to “amnesty,” “no border fence,” and...whatever...his good hair...good grief. This is the man that can and will beat Obama. Reagan would be proud, and yet I have to defend him against my own people on FR. It’s disgusting. It’s like the liberals attacking Palin. It’s truly disgusting. If we can do better, I have not seen how. I will vote for Bachmann, Cain, Palin...anyone but Paul...but I know full well Rick Perry is the STRONGEST of all the candidates. That’s it.

It is not a lie to point out that Perry, while claiming to be pro-life and conservative socially, supported Rudy Guiliani, who is both pro abortion and pro gay everything, in 2008. Sorry, but that fact makes him a major phoney to me. I have to also add that I'm amazed at how often Perry has to look down at his notes while giving a speech. It makes me think that he's actually reading someone else’s ideas.
