From a Texas ex-Al Gore campaign manager we’ll get the best of both world’s: the Gore’s and the Bush’s!

He’s a REAL RINO.

If that’s what you want, I guess you were happy when we ran Dole and McCain.

The Texas economic model has existed since before the Tea Party. It has been successful for the state. Obviously, Perry has helped make that economic model work.

The Texas economic model is now generally endorsed by many republicans at the national level, including Tea Party representatives, who have adopted it as their own. That includes Michelle Bachman, bless her heart.

The other large state economic model is California’s. It has failed at the state level. Obama and the democrats have largely adopted that model for the national level, where it is failing as well.

Does not seem to be much of a contest does it?

Palwenty was the typical bland GOP Establishments candidate playing the same old attack dog political games.

What Ed and the rest of the blooger need to wake up to is how strong the support is for the Anti Establishment candidates.

Here is the problem too many of the self styled“political strategists” have, they want to force every election season fit their preconceived doctrines. That would be a disastrous mistake for the GOP.

With 70-80% of the people totally fed up with the way the current political Establishment of both parties are running things, it would be suicidal to treat this election as business as normal.

I’ve seen Perry give speeches on television (mainly on YouTube) and knew he could be dynamic.

So, didja hear this one?

Perry, in a speech in Mexico in 2007, said he supports completely open borders, calling for the "free flow of individuals between these two countries who want to work and want to be an asset to our country and to Mexico."

Perry gives aid to the brown supramcist movement. We have to stop the class warfare where the elites allow illegal immigration in order to push down wages for the working poor.

He won’t get nominated. But what worries me is that he will pull votes from some other candidates and allow Romney to sneak in. I don’t think his entrance into the race does us any favors.
