Tickets to vote in the Straw Poll were $30, not #35... and Sarah Palin visited the State Fair Friday - that’s Des Moines, not Ames. To my knowledge, she’s not been to Ames ever. Certainly not this week. Check your facts.

I still think she can bypass Iowa (and avoid taking some tuff stands with the Ag issues). She could also bypass NH where her appeal is limited. These early states are for generating momentum into SC,FL and Super Tuesday. The going rogue scenario might be that the modern internet campaign does not require being anchored to the vestigal format of these 2 early, low population states steering everything. She has name id and can money bomb (I’ll wager) with the best. She would have Haley and Rubio boosting her to wins in these states. She can let Bachmann and Romney split the first 2, and roll them on the rest.
