Kids today need to stay positive. Set their goals extremely high. If they focus on the higher goals, they will go through all the other stuff without knowing it. Don’t let anyone tell them their goals are crazy. If you want to make $500,000 a year, look at every pay check and visualize it at $10,000. One thing for sure, if they take a production job and they set their sites on being the production lead person, that’s all they will be. Set the sites on running the company and believe you will get there. Keep that in focus and one day, you just might get there or at least most of the way.
The main thing is to stay positive, even with set-backs. There’s an old saying....”Take the cotton out of your ears and stuff it in your mouth.” Mouth shut, ears open. You may not like everything in a job, but shut up and learn until you are in command.
