Liberals are using Sarah Palin as a weapon to attack other conservatives using unnamed (probably made up) people to say some conservative has been attacking Sarah.
If Sarah Palin herself comes out and publicly states someone has been unfairly attacking her I will take it seriously. Sarah has publicly stated Katie Couric, McCain staffers and many others have unfairly attacked her. Sarah is not shy about defending herself.
But spare me these clumsy and dishonest attacks by people who hate conservatives. I am tired of their lies.
“The Rollins thing has been done ad nauseum. Nobody cares”
I care and a good many others care.
There was a time when I would have voted for Bachmann, had Palin decided not to run, but unless she get’s the nomination she will never see my vote.
Bachmann should have never hired Rollins in the first place, not firing him sunk her ship with me.
The marriage of Bachmann-Rollins has caused me to no longer care about her canned bumper sticker speeches. Frankly, I don’t trust her anymore.
If it comes down to Bachmann or someone else in the primary, I’ll vote for the someone else.... someone that can beat Obama.
Palin is clearly running, she will announce that in September and I plan to voter for Palin. BUT, if I am wrong on that, I will not vote for the Bachmann-Rollins ticket.
Yes, I believe that Bachmann is a conservative and if she were to make it to the nomination, I’ll vote for her, because there would be no other choice but to do so. AND yes, Bachmann has pissed me off.
In my post #63, I may very well had made it clear that I belong to the “anybody but Bachmann” crowd..... I don’t.
If in the primary it was between her and a candidate with the brain of a frog/RINO, of course she would have my vote, reluctant that it may be.... but I still won’t like her.
the guy is real
Barf Alert
Small government though as befits a libertarian.
Have lurked at both Instapundit and Legal Insurrection for a couple of years now; both are pretty much straight shooters, but I agree that Jacobson is more conservative than Reynolds.
Reynolds' wife (Dr. Helen) is attractive if one likes brunettes. (I prefer redheads, though, which must be why I married a blonde.)
Cheers!
She always looks like that to me.
The legendary Mrs. Whiskers was watching Hannity interview the candidates after the debate, paying particular attention to Bachmann.
Her take is that what is wrong with Bachmann is that she has had botox injected right where one's smile dimples would be, causing her face to be a little stiff while talking, and keeping her mouth from smiling when her eyes do.
It makes her look funny [as in, peculiar], quoth Mrs. Whisk.
Cheers!
We have to support our favorite in the primary but we have to vote for whoever is opposing Obama in November.
Collagen (sp?) is injected around the mouth to fill up creases like cigarette smoking leaves. Maybe that is what she did to the sides of her mouth to fill up creases or as I prefer to call them, laugh lines.
Anyone is welcome to come forward and correct me if I am wrong.
I’m a big fan of Palin and was one of the first when she was announced as VP. But I’m certainly becoming disheartened with her dragging this out.
This is a red herring. Move along.
I agree completely. To many of them have Rollins on the brain and/or suffer BDS.
Don't you just love the vetting process in the run-up to next years primaries?! I sure do. I learn much more this way. But hang in there, the ride will get much more bumpy by next year. It's where the chaff gets separated from the wheat as well as it should.
It's akin to milking it for everything its worth IMHO.
You're completely wrong about that.
I'm glad you put the sarcasm tag on that one!
The answer to your question, though, is that if McCain (aka Obama Lite) had won he would have done a lot of the things that Obama did and would have expected the Republican Party to back him on it. The sad part of that is that Boehner and McConnell would have.
That's also why the media wants us to nominate another Obama Lite.....Mitt Romney. If there was ever a time that a solid conservative can win the presidency, it's now. If there's essentially no difference between the Republican candidate and the Democrat incumbent, we'll have a hard time giving the voting public a reason to vote for us.
