Michelle Bachmann and/or her senior staff have decided that the path to short-term success is to insult Palin and to present Bachmann as the only viable alternative to establishment Republicans.
First it was Ed Rollins publicly insulting Palin almost at the very moment Bachmann announced her run; at the time I left open the possibility that Rollins had gone rogue, but Bachmann herself never made it right and Rollins still is the brains behind her campaign.
Next was this report of what is going on in the run up to the Iowa straw poll:
I like Sarah Palin a lot, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann said at Thursday nights Republican presidential debate. We are very good friends.
But a personal relationship between the conservative female leaders has, in fact, been nonexistent for the past 16 months, as aides from Bachmanns camps have privately and sometimes publicly disparaged Palin to an extent that has caused growing exasperation in Palin world. That behind-the-scenes rancor is now boiling over as the former Alaska governor inches closer to a presidential run.

It is so pervasive and so continuous that it cant be rogue people doing it without the understanding and encouragement from the candidate herself, a Palin supporter in Iowa told RCP. The entire Bachmann team has gone around the state saying Palin is a lightweight and a quitter and saying that Sarahs about to endorse Michele. Bachmanns campaign is radioactively dirty. They are shameless.

He is giving his OPINION which corresponded with mine when Rollins trashed Sarah. If Sarah doesn’t run, I don’t know if I will support Michelle or even if she will still be in play in the Florida primaries.
That's the way I see it. It's the old, "Let's you and him fight" ploy. Only now it's "her". :)
Patience Grasshopper. :)
Typical whispering campaigns. “Didja hear what so-and-so said? You didn’t hear this from meeeee, but psss-psss-psss-psss-psss.” “Oh, no she d’i’nt!” “Oh, yes she did!”
So?
You forgot to mention Jew, in your list.
I’ve read him from the beginning of his blogging days. He is the real deal, as far as I’m concerned, and I’m as skeptical of lawyers as they come. Mr. Jacobson is to the right of Glenn Reynolds (the Instapundit). He is a big fan of SP, as odd as that seems for his demographic.
The Globe?
The Star?
Crap?
I guess she should have just sung Kumbaya. /s
More indecisive Mrs. Palin whine. For a non candidate who has had almost 3 years to change the minds of people, she has spent very little actually doing it. Just talk.
It is always the pity party. Yuck!
She maybe could just grow up and compete with others.
That would be the way to show what you have.
Myself, I’m with the “ Anyone but Obama” crowd
Republicans cannot possibly win by destroying each other. Do not fall for it. The person every Republican has to defeat is Obama, the worst president in history. Keep the objective in mind at all times.
Yep, let’s let the pointy head set nominate Mittens for us. That’ll work.
As someone who has been involved in GOP Party politics for over 30 years, I have some advice for all the Candidates supporters.
As Pawlenty learned this week, Republican voters are not interested in the least in fighting with their allies. We all know who the real enemies are and don't take kindly to those who do the Dems PR work for them.
Trash talking the other candidate then going to their supporters later asking them to support your candidate is a sure fail strategy. The way to win the Republicans and Conservatives voters is to tell them why YOUR candidate should be chosen.
Trash talking the other guy only hurts your chosen candidate, you do not build anything by tearing down everyone else.

Well, tens of thousands of the rest of us have been reading him for well over a year now. He's become one of the most popular conservative bloggers around. Research all you want -- but just reading his blog archives will tell you what you want to know.
Sounds like a bunch of BS to me.
