I watched it.

You and I saw different interviews, though.

Gregory looked rattled and horrific. He couldn’t stop interrupting her.

He was a brutal attack dog for the gay lobby and for left wing economists and left wing businessmen. His mouth had a motor on it and he was a wild man. Was that his job, or did it just show that he can’t stand her views, thought he could run over her as a female, what?

It was the most nakedly unprofessional thing I’ve seen.

She mentioned that George Washington and other Presidents prayed, after he attacked her spirituality. He interrupted her sentence.

I think the pound should be called and he should be vaccinated for rabies.

She represented the people’s comments, the people’s concerns, the people’s sufferings. She was Tea Party to the core. He could only quote the elite who have virtually destroyed this nation.

She was right to say that her years back comments on the gay, lesbian lifestyle does not mean that she is judging them in the place of God. That is what she referenced, because her comments and observations that it was a sad lifestyle are obviously not the same as standing in judgement against them as if God, damning them to hell.

When Gregory tried and tried to get her to say that a gay couple with adopted kids was or was not a family, she repeatedly said, my position is that a marriage is between a man and a woman.

She also repeatedly said that “I’m running for President of the United States”. Showing him up for his pettiness and reminding people who still don’t know her very well, what this brohaha is all about.

I will tell you who the majority of Americans would more identify with in that face off, and it wasn’t David Gregory.

We have NO disagreement as to who and what Gregory is.

My critique was based upon the way she handled him. It was weak, unfocused, unsure, and well..it didn't look Presdiential. She had ample opportunity to solidly refute him, put him down, defend her viewpoints..which as you corectly say, are held by the majority of Americans..instead, she weakly repeated that "her position is that marriage is between a man and a woman."

She needs to recognize IMMEDIATELY what it took Palin a year to learn..that the MSM is NOT her friend..it is her avowed ENEMY...and she needs to go right at them..in their face...

Great post and not just because I couldn’t agree with you more.

Bachman said over and over in response to Gregory’s continually ridiculous question over whether she would hire a gay for a cabinet post that she had three critera...1-is he or she qualified 2-are they competitant individuals 3-do they generally align with her on the major issues.

What the hell’s wrong with this? She didn’t say she WOULD NOT appoint a homosexual, she said what she said. Gregory, having received the Democrat irrelevant questions that American does not sit around worrying about all night, kept nagging at her like a poisoned Fishwife.

Please don’t forget we have a homosexual as head of the Dept. of Education, a gay fellow who wants to reach way beyond the sort of stuff on sexuality that should not be taught in schools. Bachman’s answer covered the bases in that she wouldn’t disqualify an individual because of their sexual orientation except where a certain sexual identity might not be appropriate.

We get this out here in la la land although most of us still aren’t losing sleep over a matter that took up 1/3 of a Meet the Press hour. This is NOT, go with me here, a news organization trying to open up public debate on an important American issue. It’s a Meet the Press carrying the water for one political party and nothing less.

Nagging and getting in one’s face over anything is just bad manners and meant to shake that person. Let’s not condemn that innocent individual that had this done to them as being somehow incapable.

It was awful how that man behaved, I don’t know how he can sleep nights.

I agree with you. I saw the interview and David Gregory came off looking, as he usually does, as a cheerleader for the Left. I swear that “Meet the Press” should have a warning label on it like a pack of cigarettes: “This is a Left Leaning Show and will only permit answers that benefit our cause. In order to not be offended if you are a Conservative, please turn your channel”. It’d be nice if they just ran it at the bottom of the screen, so if you are channel surfing you know what to expect at all times.

Thank you for an excellent post. I understand that we are all entitled to our own opinions, but I believe that David Gregory crossed the line when he asked MB (I’m paraphrasing as I don’t recall his exact words but am certain his intent was clear and his question not only absurd but totally offensive and insulting) ... As President will you invoke God or ask for his council when it comes to making decisions that will affect the American people? In other words Gregory made it sound like an extreme idea to include God in her decision making. I was so angry that I was certain to find some posting on this on the Free Republic website. I am very surprised that I could’nt find any.
