What the hell happened to Ann?

&&&&

The aging process! Just how long can one be considered a “sex symbol”? After a certain number of years the long blond hair becomes a joke.

She was opposed to that bill because she opposed raising the debt ceiling. (She has the American people on her side on that one. The ignoramuses. /s)

Unless you raise the debt limit, you would have to cut immediately 60% out of the current budget. That would spell disaster. Here is the problem. What would you cut immediately to live within our revenue? Notice that Medicare, Medicaid, SS, and debt servicing costs amount to about 50% of the total expenditures or $1.7 trillion. Add to that other mandatories like food stamps, unemployment benefits and you are talking about 2.2 trillion or the total revenue received. This leaves defense and the rest of the government to fund. The difficulty in immediately balancing the budget would be enormous and essentially impossible. When you borrow 42 cents out of every dollar spent, you can't balance the budget overnight.

And don't forget that the Medicare and SS costs will continue to increase as the 10,000 baby boomers retire every day raising the costs of the entitlement programs no matter what is done to reform them.

Bambi was adopted by Soetero in Indonesia and became an Indonesian citizen and Muslim (school record). He was already a British and Kenyan citizen by virtue of his alleged father being Kenyan (was a colony @ Bambi’s birth). His mother removed him from her US passport. Bambi’s new passport was probably Indonesian. He traveled on it. He was admitted to Occidential as a foreign student, he lived with foreign students, he lived with Pakistanis who supported him and he traveled to Pakistan with them. He got into Columbia and Harvard by virtue of the foreign connections and also high Muslim patrons who have also been identified. Some civil servants were prosecuted for snooping into his passport and social security records. It would be nice to know what they found.

I have no pro-Palin bias. I ahve not yet settled ion a candidate...but I will happily, and enthusiastically support whoever is the nominee.

I am merely trying to honestly assess the relative strengths of each candidate. Look, the country is polarized more than ever. On our side, you have those who wll vote for ABO ( anyone but Obama) on he left..the hard core Dem/union/lib/MSM base..more so than ever..the "middle will be crucial"..and because they are basically "squishes"..they respond to perception, to image..probably more than the issues.

Question to you both, FRiends ( and yes..we are friends..):

Bachmann got a huge boost out of her FIRST debate appearance. She won it....hands down...do you think she equaled it, let alone surpassed it, on Thursday. I don't think so.

We can't be so in love with our chosen candidates that we can't be afraid to honestly assess their strengths, and their weaknesses.

I want her to be successful, but this interview with Gregory wasn't a good one. Margaret Thatcher would have put Gregory down..stepped on him, in about 10 seconds. Yes, Bachmann isn't the Iron Lady...by a long shot..but that's her target, her idol....

Whew, I’m glad you clarified that.

I can still hate everything John Kerry stands for, does or says. I can still call him despicable.

I can also use the zero, 0, instead of the capital O when writing 0zero’s name.

We have a popular local show on in Dallas on the Rush station here — Mark Davis who often subs for Rush. Lately, I’ve been liking him a lot better and he does give a lot of play to local issues ignored by the national shows.

So Laura is on at night here, after Levine. Sometimes she has decent guests but, even there ... she’s hard to listen to.

Exactly what age is it that long blonde hair becomes a joke?? Maybe I need to call for an appointment? Just kidding, I totally agree, but don’t know what the age is.

But I can tell you this, long gray hair looks really odd, unless you’re a witch.

It was amazing that when we have 10% unemployment, the stock market tanking, a downgrade of our credit and the worst economy since 1940 he spends over half his time on tolerance questions. His entire interview, which had the exact questions as every other interview; was to make her look like an extremist.

Where were the economic questions?

Hmm sorry Ken cannot see anything "weak and unfocused" in this. Sure you watched the same interview as the rest of us?

Calling Washington "vile and corrupt," Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann said Sunday she won't compromise her "core principles" if elected president, but she would take steps to negotiate "advancements" in the right direction.

"The trajectory that the country is going right now is negative, everyone knows it. So we need to have a president that is as least going to get us on the trajectory of going in the right direction," Bachmann told "Fox News Sunday."

Bachmann is enjoying a victory lap after taking 28 percent of the nearly 17,000 votes cast in a Saturday poll of Iowa Republican voters weighing in on the crop of 2012 GOP presidential candidates. Bachmann said Iowa is a much better place to be than in Washington, in part because politicians in Washington refuse to live within their means.

"I think we need to reform the system currently that we have in Washington because it is absolutely vile and corrupt. It has no connection with where we need to spend the money. It has everything to do with political connections," she said.

Bachmann specifically pointed to President Obama, who passed a $3.6 trillion budget even though the government only receives $2.2 trillion in revenues.

"We spent every cent of that $2.2 trillion. The problem is we spent an additional $1.5 trillion we didn't have," she said. "One thing we need to do is reject the new normal level of spending under the Obama administration. ... Government has no conformity at all with the real world."

Bachmann said she would not have made the same deal reached by Democrats and Republicans in the House and Senate to look for $2.4 trillion in cuts over 10 years because it only cuts $21 billion off the top.

Explaining the unanimous opposition to the hypothetical scenario posed during last week's Fox News/Washington Examiner debate of the Republican presidential candidates, Bachmann said no Republican would take a 10-to-1 debt deal that offers $10 in spending cuts for $1 in tax increases because the cuts aren't "real."

Bachmann said those who try to compare today's crop of GOPers to President Ronald Reagan, who did compromise on tax increases, are overlooking history. She said while Reagan agreed to a 3-to-1 deal of spending cuts to tax increases, the outcome turned out very differently.

"It ended up being $3 in tax increases for every dollar in spending cuts. That's the way it works in D.C." she said. "The deal sounds so rosy at the very beginning and usually the cuts are illusory, they're off in future years ... We can beat our chests and be really proud and say, 'oh we're going to cut trillions of dollars but we can't guarantee what future Congresses will do.'

"That's why no one would take that deal on the Fox stage or debate because we all know that they're fake cuts. Essentially they sound good as sound bites but they aren't real," Bachmann said.

Bachmann added that she voted against the 2009 stimulus plan but asked for some of the money after it was passed because she didn't want her constituents to be disadvantaged when cash was rolling out to other communities.

"Unfortunately, it ended up going to politicians who are politically well-connected to Barack Obama. That's what's wrong with Washington. Too often the money has no connection to merit or where it should go, it goes to the politically connected," Bachmann said. Brilliant analysis of the DNC Dave interview with Bachman! You nailed it! She did as good as you can do with someone breathing down your neck ignoring everything you say and hell bent on gotcha journalism.

Two million is what we know about. we will never know the true amount/amounts of what hiding his true identity--creating the persona of Barry Soetoro/Barak Hussein Mohammed Obama and other problems actually is.

If you believe zero that his father was born in Kenya than he is not a NBC--natural born citizen since both parents were not born here. If they really were/are his parents.

Since we know nothing for sure and no one seems to be able to prove anything we are left guessing.

So much of all that has been blurred or distorted or rubbed out. Do we now what passport he traveled under to Pakistan?
Then there was the murder on the streets of Chicago supposedly traced back to his passport woes,it just never ends.

A lot of it is the three hour thing. It takes a true broadcast talent to be entertaining for three hours. There is just too much time to screw up. It's just too easy to lose an audience.

Then you have the problem of new people every 15 minutes. Very few can handle all that and be successful. Even fewer can handle the pressure of dealing with over a million people at once or in some cases ten million at once. Not to mention did you do a good enough job for the sponsors.

To be good you have to live it, breathe it, love it, it has to be a huge part of who you are. Once you are there you can be successful.
