You are absolutely correct. The Crawford ranch was so fully equipped as GW's office that the SS referred to it as the "Texas White House." Bush worked when he "vacationed" there. He invited political leaders, foreign heads of state to meetings, and conferred with his staffers and advisers whom he also hosted there while they worked in a more secluded, yet productive atmosphere away from the distractions of DC. The best asset of Bush's ranch during those times was the level of relaxed, gracious, sincere hospitality all those people enjoyed. Something Obama has never shown to dignataries.
And I am sure it all cost less than the Obama's vacations, or Michelle's so-called "official" visit to Africa where she played she was "working" for what...a day...during that expensive charade on our dime.
