NOT learning from Reagan's mistake of trusting kennedy and the rats on Amnesty as well as trusting tipp o'neill and the rat turds on tax increases in exchange for promised future spending cuts... is a major negative. We need to look no further than the recent debacle of boehner and the rinoids passing a bill built on the same misplaced trust of proved liars and thieves (dims). Reagan was not perfect... but he was a GREAT PRESIDENT... and repeating his mistakes is not the hallmark of a great leader. Reagan would never have passed a second Amnesty nor did he pass any further tax increases... because he learned from his mistakes... which I wish that I could say the same for many other republicans... many that presently hold office and many that are running for office today.

The other thing domestically he did that really, really, really, pissed me was closing down those nuclear power plants that were under construction. I bet half the people here do not know that Reagan was anti nuclear power. The harm to business men in those locations was terrible.
