In order to display some gravitas, Obamas White House is assisting an Oscar winning filmmaker to spin it into a leadership role in the killing of Osama Bin Laden just in time for the 2012 Election. As is typical of Hollywood, this is another movie aimed at showing Democrat Presidents in a positive light while in and out of office.
Kathryn Bigelow director of the Oscar-winning Iraq War movie The Hurt Locker, has teamed up with its writer Mark Boal to start on the preproduction research for a movie about the killing of Bin Laden. The project is being billed as a movie about CIA and Military action in the tracking and killing of bin Laden. It will supposedly be presented as a story about the SEAL team that killed bin Laden, but since the White House is involved it will more likely be a 2 hour Hollywood produced campaign commercial.
Concerns
Ms. Bigelow,a longtime supporter of Obama is using this movie to highlight the only positive moment during his presidency. Bigelow may already have used White House connections to gain access to sensitive information within the CIA and the Pentagon in preparations for this movie. Rep. Peter King (R-NY) asked the inspectors general of the CIA and the Department of Defense to determine what consultations occurred in the White House about providing Hollywood with access to covert military operators and clandestine CIA officers. This suspicion became warranted when Bigelow and Boal showed up at a CIA ceremony to honor the SEALS and CIA agents who took out bin Laden.
Movies about black-ops may compromise future clandestine missions and may endanger troops, agents and their families, but that doesnt seem important to Obama or his Hollywood friends. Among the black-ops community it is a taboo to talk about past and ongoing missions, even with each other.

Movie title contest: my entry:
Triumph of the Bull
Leni Riefenstahl was already engaged, so they were forced to take Kathryn Bigelow.
I was a fan of Bigelow after her vampire “masterpiece” Near Dark. Perhaps this will be titled After Dark.
I see Obama is carrying on the Clinton phony movie business.
One other thing. It's also bad juju in the military to take credit for things you didn't do. In this case, one suspects that President Dubya had patiently put plans in place that were eventually carried out, and Mister Obama merely selected an option from among the plans presented to him.
And even one more thing. One also wonders if Mister Bin Laden had his ticket cancelled as a matter of political convenience because capturing him and hauling him off to Gitmo (or wherever) would have proven to be an embarrassment because of (a.) controversy over which interrogation techniques and (b.) controversy over which type of trial (criminal or military tribunal).
And yet another thing. One wonders if this being an election year had anything to do with the decision to go (IIRC there were criticisms of Mister Clinton who was elsewhere focused when the word came that. we had a clear window.)

I’ll take Albania and an ol’ shoe for a hundred, Alez.
He’s going to spike that ball the rest of his life.
There’s only so much you can package and push a bag of sh$$ before it starts to stink. The emperor has no clothes fits this empty suit perfectly
If Dubya had tried this crap, the commie libs would be raising hell. Hypocrites!!
I’m still awaiting validation that Mr Bin Laden “had his ticket cancelled”, at all.
[here’s hoping Obeyme and juju become fast friends]
I wonder if they will have a dramatic scene where Leon Panetta listens to Obama say “let’s sleep on it” and then tells the troops “hell this dumbasss is going to waffle all night- go get him and I’ll handle this ‘tard in the morning”
Now that details about this propaganda have leaked out, I hope that some conservative wits crank out a bunch low quality YouTube (but probably not on them) parodies that will eviscerate the movie even before it is sent to the theaters.
Some possible ideas.
1) Reenact the “baseball bat at dinner” scene from the movie The Untouchables, with Obama as Al Capone and Osama bin Laden as the unfortunate dinner guest.

2) In a somewhat modified version, the “dental” scene from Marathon Man, with Obama as Szell, asking Osama bin Laden some other question than “Is it safe?” Perhaps, “Where’s my money?” would be more appropriate.
3) Obama as the somewhat deranged Colonel Walter E. Kurtz in the movie Apocalypse Now.
“We must spend it all. We must spend all the money. Trillion after trillion... billion after billion... million after million... dollar after dollar...”
Look at that dweeb on that bike. Legs and arms as close as possible with almost all his weight on the seat with a helmet with no gloves and ridding a damb girls bike. That guy is a geek. I would say that about anyone riding a bike like that.
I’ve been watching BUDS Training on the Military Channel. Comparing what those young men go through to call themselves SEALS, and what Dear Leader went through to call himself Commander-in-Chief, it’s an absolute no brainer to figure out who gets the credit for killing Osama.
My question is this: How much did the White House share with Hollywood (you know - the America hating, military hating hand of the Dem party) and anyone else who was willing to listen and did this play any role in the deaths of these Navy Seals. My guess is yes.
The entire gay movement for one -- thus Hunter Madsen and Marshall Kirk, authors of After the Ball (1988). The stakes, you see, were too high, and the sins against innocent gay people too monstrous, to admit of any shilly-shallying around. Any lie in behalf of gaydom is eclipsed by the perverted exaltation of heteronormality, you see. And so they espoused Goebbels openly, and proudly, in the name of truth and beauty no less. How's that for chutzpah?
