Yep, and add in Detroit. The cops just tried to contain the riots to certain area’s. In other words, keep it from spreading to the whole city. Add in forced busing and you have the reason’s for Detroit’s final demise. Many cities in the states were blazing during that time period..
Put a bounty on rioters. Cheap and efficient.

You think so. All I see anymore is a superabundance of scared rabbits. They pay their taxes, obey the police, entrust their children to public schools, avoid objecting to bathhouses and mosques and abortuaries, and they pass meekly through the checkpoints. They are almost ready for the showers.
When the police come for the guns, 99% of Americans will give up the guns rather than face the consequences of resistance.
Depends on which part of the country. If it happened in the cities, the police and National Guard would have sat on rears and would have done little. RE: LA riots.
Ironically, it is the cities where guns are controlled or banned outright. The people are at the mercy of the thugs.
Depends on the color of the rageboys, too.

The Oprah’s of the world are what has been creating the problems with the dependent societies.

He DOES NOT blame the very immoral and amoral abyss that is UK socialism and all the ills that it eventually spawns. They have a permanent underclass that has never worked a day in their miserable lives and expects perpetual government handouts. The author barely hints at this root cause of the problem. It is a lot like Obama blaming bad weather, Arab uprisings, and a Japanese tsunami for all of our financial ills.
Americans would have known how to respond to the violence
Yup, just spread the word to all the unions that a Tea Party mob is demonstrating in the streets and they’ll arrive in a large group of busses in record time.

They won't have to come for you. If they know you have a gun, they'll just issue a warrant. Then in traffic, run your plate. If there's a hit, pull you over for a "traffic violation" and put you in cuffs "for you safety".
Game over, with no bloodshed, and little publicity.

It sounds like a great idea for a video-game. It could train the public how to deal with such anarchistic crap when the police won't.
