And how many Yankee teams dare come play in the Swamp - or Baton Rouge, or Tuscaloosa, or Knoxville in September? The Swamp in Gainesville has triple digit temperatures on the field.

That's in the late afternoon. The humidity is atrocious. I am so thankful that the first two games this year are at 7 PM.

The last time the Gators played a non-conference game outside of the State of Florida was 1992 against Syracuse.

Aw, but that’s half the fun, sitting in the hot sun and watching the visitors melt while the home fans laugh at their discomfort. (Sick sense of humor)

One year, a team from Illinois came down to the Swamp with WOOL uniforms. They were out of gas at the end of the first quarter. It was 110 degrees on the field - and humidity to match!
