One year, a team from Illinois came down to the Swamp with WOOL uniforms. They were out of gas at the end of the first quarter. It was 110 degrees on the field - and humidity to match!

I agree..my "problem" and I suspect it's the same for a great many fans across the country..is that we just don't think of ACC as a football conference..

As a kid growing up in NYC in the 50's..I followed the underground railroad of NYC HS stars to UNC...Lenny Rosenbluth was my first sports hero. But football still rules in the ACC..to the schools fan base..
