From Sarah Palin to Rush Limbaugh, conservatives have lavished praise upon the Texan we know as Rick Perry.
His Texas Miracle is the talk of the country, with over half of all new jobs created nationwide being done so in the Lone Star State.
After THE ANNOUNCEMENT tomorrow we can look forward to the Perry for President team providing an Internet site at which we all can learn what are friends in Texas have already known - that Rick Perry is the person we've hoped for who will oust Obama from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave!

I guess you didn't get the memo either about Perry's Muslim problem...

And oh, BTW, Perry and El Presidente Vicente Fox share the same ideals concerning education of illegal aliens in Texas...

"Rick Perry thanked by Vicente Fox for Illegals' In-state Tuition. "

Yep, he sure is the great white hope of both the GOP and the country.

Not if I have anything to say about it. And make no mistake, I'll have my say.

We will rue the day if and when the likes of Rick Perry ever darken the door of the White House. He endorsed Rudy Giuliani in 2008, that should be somewhat telling.

When you stop and think about it, just who within that crowd of candidates deserved endorsing...???

I don’t think it’s possible for me to express in a single sentence exactly how much I detest Rick Perry, but I can’t fault the guy for being ticked with some jackoff cop that pulled him over. He handled that better than I would have in his position.

South of the border is an even better place for Perry to campaign.

¡El gobernador Perry puede hacerlo!

Hunter was okay. So was Tancredo. If you wanted someone with a chance to break through, Thompson was a good compromise, but too many wouldn’t budge. There were choices.

I was born in Charleston, raised in the Low Country and now live in the Midlands.

I am 57,know my state well and it's “Perry who?”

Now you mention Palin,Bachman,or Cain around here and it's “you got that right!”

For one politician to endorse another, there has to be a chance of his winning. Otherwise, why get involved?

For that reason, nobody with any clout was ever going to endorse either Hunter or Tancredo. And Thompson not only got in late, he left early -- leaving little time for anybody to even think about endorsing him.

Which reinforces my point: there was nobody worth endorsing in 2008. There were just those who couldn't win...and those who could, but didn't warrant it.
