Palin: Could I Support Somebody Like Mitt Romney? Yeah
DES MOINES, Iowa 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin said Friday that she still hasnt decided if shes going to run for president. Palin is also undecided about whom she would endorse if she ultimately decided against entering the race.
Swarmed by media and supporters at the Iowa State Fair, the former governor of Alaska told The Daily Caller that shes not concerned that Mitt Romney is considered the frontrunner at this time.
No, nothing worries me at this point, Palin told TheDC. Could I support somebody like Mitt Romney? Yeah.
When TheDC pointed out that some tea partiers have pledged to make sure Romney doesnt get the nomination, Palin said, Im of the mind of ABO Anybody But Obama, at this time.

I didn’t say I’m a Romney supporter because I’m not.
Point is that if the general election is Romney vs Zero, then I’ll pull the lever for Romney. Like I did for McCain, while holding my nose. Who would you vote for in that situation?

Lol, yea I know, it’ll be tough but what can you do if someone just stops talking to you?
To: Mensius
As a DeMint supporter, what do you say about his support of Romney, an actual endorsement? And Palin supported McCain who in my book is just as bad as Romney.

Some principled conservatives aren't planning on supporting or voting for Romney even if he gets the nomination.
You probably would if Palin told you to....Are you truly dumb or do you just play dumb here on Free Republic?
NO ROMNEY, NO WAY!

Really would like to know. I would say it doesn't matter for a jigger. It's the only pathetic argument that Palin supporters can come up with to use against a potential candidate who is more conservative than their own.

Doesn’t matter. Jim’s site, Jim’s rules, Jim’s call. Why is that so hard for some to understand. If the boss wants to zot me for saying he has a nice site, he can just as if I say I love Romney (I don’t).
His house, his call. His reasons. Done.
To: whatisthetruth
Good grief!... Romney reminds me of my one brothers closet....even his shirts are colored co-ordinated and facing one direction, spaced evenly apart.

I'll write someone in or see who the Constitution Party is running. You see, the GOP and RNC is counting on you, and every other conservative to hold their nose again. And because of that, they'll push the biggest RINO they can because they know the conservatives will fall in line. We will NEVER get a real conservative if the GOP keeps taking us for granted- and then stabbing us in the back later. And every time a RINO gets the nod, a piece of real conservatism dies.
At least with Obama, I see the knife coming at me. With RINOs, I'm always being stabbed in the back.
And I'm tired of bleeding at the hands of both.

Re; Obama photo- Have you ever seen an expression like that on an American president before? Hitler, maybe but not an American president. Rush said he looked demonic. Nah, it's not demonic - just too many rum-soaked raisins...
