Arresting someone for something that may or may not have happened is stretching the “it's not perfect but if it saves one life it's worth it” mantra. In fact, it's what the founders would call unconstitutional. For example, I could call the DEA and make a bogus claim about you. Then a SWAT team will come in, shoot your dogs, fire of 70+ rounds in your general direction, and take your kids from you. But you know, it is more important that we have a law that violates a Constitutional right than an average American potentially selling weed.
