I was lying on my bed the other night watching a movie on tv when it sounded like a gunshot in my living room. I got my shotgun and searched all around inside and outside my house, but found nothing. I went back to my movie. Today I looked in my cabinet and found the culprit- a 15 &1/4 oz. can of DelMonte apricots with the ring-pull top had imploded. It was half full and the lid was inside. Only a small mess to clean up but, No more ring pull cans in my storage. It may have been a year old.
Bad can, sounds like. QC’s slipping, maybe. Haven’t one of those pull ring cans go bad on me, but the black olives going off surprised me.
