The idea that he really believes this unhinged and strange idiocy, or the idea that he doesn’t believe it but is trying to terrify people in order to cause them to hate Christians.
I see this idea floated quite a bit. I’ve been involved in Christianity for forty years, and I’ve NEVER heard this come out of any Christian’s mouth. Just Christian haters.
