Okay...Got any statistics that were not made up by a crazy person?
I expected a reply just like the one you sent. When some people are confronted by data they don't like then they immediately disparage the data. Gee do we know anyone else like that? Are his initials BO by any chance?
My sister is an animal control officer. So she deals with the situation all the time. She has told me that they have special training to deal with Pits and Rotts. Pit Bulls are in fact the most dangerous of the popular dog breeds in the United States. There is simply no question about that. The data is unassailable. If you check the website, you will notice that the data is carefully footnoted. Much of the data comes from the CDC.
In the dog park that I frequent, a huge and disproportionate amount of the trouble is due to Pit Bulls. I've seen the unprovoked attacks on other dogs. We've had bad injuries. You simply are in denial. And that can be a very dangerous place to be.
