Is he bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia here?
This seems like a nice speech give to some Muslim constituents. When you have 600k of anything in your state, they're just another constituency. May as well try and pull some of their votes, or at least convince them to stay home.
It would be lovely if some politician was ready to tell the truth about Islam. None are. Herman Cain came closest, and he already wound up on bent knee before an Islamic group, apologizing for offending them. Obama openly prostrates himself before Islam like a good little minion, and Bush was as buddy buddy with the Saudi royals as old collage roommates. Yet we're supposed to get fired up over a speech?
bended knee? hardly. He came out against against sharia law and for allegiance to the Constitution during the debate Thursday.
