Right...Newt is not only intellectually highly competent and knowledgeable with good ideas, he is also a statesman. Too bad, the Dems destroyed his chances long ago and although he keeps hanging in there, I doubt he would take the nomination.

True. The only two up there who could stand up consistently against BHO in debate and not get (or seem) rattled are Newt and Cain. Cain’s steadily boning up on any areas he’s been a bit weak on, and he’s excellent, but I’d still have to rate Newt #1 (so far) on debating BHO. And BOTH he and Herman are far superior intellectually to the Wan.
